The golf cart has been around for decades and yet it is still much the same as when it was first developed. Any golf cart should be serviced at appropriate intervals and either gas engine or electric will need a little attention now and again. The electric golf carts have far fewer moving parts and servicing often involves little more than a quick check to ensure the electrical connections are in order. With both types the wheels and brakes need to be checked but they rarely need much attention.

Everyone doesn’t want the same thing so some people decide to customize their golf carts with their own style of decoration and color. One day you might see a golf cart made up to look like a fire truck and another might look like a Cadillac. You can stand out from the crowd and show you are special with a golf cart that looks rather different to the normal ones.

I never understood why they are called golf carts because they are used at many other places as local transport vehicles. Being a cheap and flexible vehicle they are often used to move people and equipment around theme parks and other large sites such as factories and utility sites.

A golf cart is such a simple and functional vehicle that nobody gives it much thought but they do a great job.
