OGS: A Distance Learning Christian College
Isabel and I have completed our first Core week at Oxford Graduate School in Dayton, Tennessee. We are each working on our doctorate. We chose OGS because it is a christian university with distance learning, fully acredited, and focuses deeply on academic research for our dissertations.
This program is well organized and each of the six core weeks is very intense. After each core, there are four months of assignments to complete at home with contact by email with the professors. The administrative and teaching staff are excellent and committed to excellence in the school, the curriculum, themselves, and in the students.
In addition to the six core weeks of residential study and the assignments, there are two separate week-long field trips to Oxford, England, and to the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. These trips are designed to deepen our research so that our dissertations are of the highest quality.
